How many trees are leveled each year???

I have find an amazing new about the undesirables mailings you received, 100 million trees are leveled each year to produce this publicity. This production and disposal of junk mail consumes more energy than 2.8 million cars and costs citizens and local governments hundreds of millions of dollars per year in collection and disposal fees.

What we can do to reduce this catastrophe? Is anyone agreement with this extermination?
I not agree because as everyone know the amount of trees are reduced each moment in the world and trees are essential in human life. The Center of a New American Dream is working in some campaigns to try to eliminate your name and address from this bulk mail list. These companies received 125 million telephone numbers from people to eliminate their names from this list, three years later they haven't received an answer yet.
